WOOTNESS!

Love this type of random humour.
The random humour if the driving force behind this animation, though it also suffers from some lame duck jokes.

The animation is nice and smooth. Excellent work in that aspect.
The character design is also excellent, though the background could use some work. I'm referring to the bookcase, which doesn't look entirely like a bookcase, since it is a bunch of squares, lacking a real shape to them.

The sound quality is also excellent, and I especially enjoyed the voices used.
Scripting in that regard was also spot on, especially the portrayal of Maximillion.

In conclusion, a few misfired jokes and uninspired background fail to drive attention away from this awesome piece of awesome.

Brilliant

Excellent story, chronicling the rise of a young salesman. I have to admit that I didn't see the Dio part coming, but it makes sense.
Though the beginning when he was born didn't seem to make much sense, it definitely picked up afterwards

The humour was pretty well written, though some of the jokes didn't seem to land with me, it was awesome overall.

The animation was fluent, though the lip syncing seemed to be off at points.
The design to was superb for both the characters and backgrounds.

In short a brilliant animation, held back by a few minor imperfections, but still enjoyable.

Awesomeness

Brilliant animation and excellent use of cinematography. Undoubtedly excellent presentation.
Excellent design work as well. The characters and backgrounds were excellent and carried your own touch to an common concept.

The music was chosen well and fit the scene perfectly. You also gave credit where it was due rather than trying to claim it.

Not really sure that I can fault your presentation.

The choreography too was spot on. It added a depth of excitment to the piece, as well as maintaining the pace.

Geez. what did i do to deserve this much praise?

why thank you sir.

Interesting

Nice use of animation. The movements were a bit jerky here and there which can be solved by a adding a few more frames to the movement (admittedly increasing production time), however the imperfection is slight enough that it didn't ruin the animation.
This is only a suggestion.

The story was well conveyed very well, even without vocals. I would like to see a prequel or flashback, showing what happened to his friend. The "to be continued", while cliché, left me glad that there was more.

The music didn't really seem to fit the action on screen. There was a lot of hope in the piece, but it all seems a bit too dramatic, overbolwing what was actually on screen.

I did enjoy the animation style. The lines appear to be somewhat jagged, and gives the use of a manga style more originality. I also liked the design of the alien and his ship, which gave a huge sense of size and a dominating presence. The alien seemed very mysterious, reminding me to an extent of "Gort from Day the earth stood still".

The backgrounds had a real feeling of mystery and wonder to them, adding to the feeling of the animation. The foreground too seemed very well detailed, without drawing attention away from the overall product.

In summery, an excellent first instalment which shows a lot of promise, though is held back by jerky animation and an unfitting soundtrack.

That's the last thing a cat needs!

The ending felt kinda rushed too me. Hardly very climatic.
There was also a problem with the timing of the sounds at points, but otherwise I liked it.

Pretty Solid job

First I'd like to start by saying that while this video isn't all that funny, I get the feeling that it wasn't supposed to be. It would probably make more sense if you have read your webcomic however.

The animation fits well with the music, and the pacing is pretty well done. The sound quality was great, which I thought was one of it's redeeming qualities.
However I do agree with the other reviews which say that the quality of animation appears to be lacking. The animation is fairly crude at times, using only the most basic of movements. Hopefully your next attempt will be a bit more ambitious.

Still on a side note I like your style, and hope to see more of your work in the future.

Happy Birthday you nutty little rabbit!

Great work on everything about this. The audio quality, song and animation.
I feel that the humour didn't really pick up in places however, and what was delivered didn't really make up for that. This is the only thing preventing a perfect score from me.

Awesome!

An amazing job bro. I'll admit that it seemed slow at first, but the punchline it was building to was definitely worth the wait.
I can't think of how you can improve this. Keep it up!

MyKindOfFlash responds:

Well I hope I do improve, I don't wanna peak this early. I have many more ideas and still lots of improvement to make in terms of animation so hopefully my next cartoon will blow this piece of trash out of the water!

Thank you for taking the time to review! :)

EPIC!

Awesome take on a classic song! Hilarious!
I can't think of a way to fault this. Awesome animation, sound quality, writing, design and humour. 10/10
